HOw cute is that Jill! I love nostalgic things. I often think before I buy something or make something, "Will my grandkids want to play with this?" I much prefer timeless toys to the new fancy-do-all-the-thinking-for-you-toys! This cape is so perfect! My friend made Gabs a purple and pink with a "G" on one side and a princess crown on the other. You should make one for Ella so they can be super heros together like the Incredibles! Very cute!
Are you kidding me? How cute is Luke! I wasn't old enough to remember Dave's cape, but I do remember all the stories. Was it Dave who tried to jump off the fridge with his cape becuase he thought he could fly like Superman? Anyway... so cute!
It just makes me giggle to see Luke in Dave's cape.
Actually it almost makes me cry it is so cute. Isn't it fun to save things and bring them out a generation later. I love it. Thanks for the picture.
how adorable! What a fun treasure to share!
You should make a cape for yourself, too, while you're at it ,since you are...you know...super Mom.
I do think you should think of it as a compliment, That Heavenly Father sent you such a special little boy. He knew you were THE perfect mother for him. And that only you could do the job right. He gave you all the tools you need to get Luke to a good place. And from the looks of it, you are doing exactly what he wants. Luke is beautiful and happy.
You are amazing, Jill! I'm so glad I found your blog.
Wow! What are the chances of having the same house, the same cape at the same age! So fun!
Holy Cow that brings back memories. I can't remember Dave at that age ever NOT wearing The Cape. He was in fact Superman. So cute to see Luke following in Dad's Footsteps.
