Congrats. That is exciting...but busy. You will do a great job.
Wow! Primary Pres. you will be fantastic. I am the 1st counselor and I know it is hard work. You probably have already heard this but...Sugardoodle.net is an awesome resource for primary stuff!! Good luck!!
So fun!! I love love love being in Primary. 100 kids though. Wow. I only have about 25-30. You will be amazing. I cannot wait to get ideas from you!
oh Jill!!!What an adventure!!! I have to share an idea that this ward does that is a huge huge hit!!!
In our ward we have a "Captain CTR" He's a super hero that watches over the kids and reports when they do something great!!!
Each month he comes into Primary and tells the kids all about special kids. A class is picked, the Primary Pres. calls all those kids moms and asks what they have done this month that was special, helpful or cool, then Captain CTR gives the report. He wears a Suit, a cape, and eye mask! The kids don't know who he is!!!It's an older guy in our ward so no kids can recognize him!!! A crazy newly wed would work too!!! The kids LOVE IT!!!! They look for chances to do good deeds in hopes that Captain CTR is watching!
On Saturday the kids went to the Primary activity day and when I went to go pick them up all they could talk about was seeing Captain CTR spying on them. Blue said she only saw his cape but Cricket saw "his whole body!"
He ran up and down the street like a super hero! The kids all went nuts!
Ok...this is too long!Sorry for the novel!!!You'll be a hit Jill!
